Foster Update!
Delilah is very sweet. She wants to be loved. She follows us around the house. She walks well on a leash, and wants to greet everyone who runs or walks by.
Samson and Delilah were champs in the car. Delilah slept most of the way and seemed somewhat exhausted/overwhelmed. By the time we got to the vet, she perked up and started looking out the window and she was very alert and interested in her surroundings at the clinic. Samson was friendly as well, and was sweet and very interested in his surroundings and the passing traffic leaving Atlanta then settled down for a nap. In fact, he seemed to enjoy the ride. They were both gentle and very well behaved. Both just seemed like they simply need a little rest and a hug and they'll be good to go. I didn't have Samson out walking very much as it was raining when I picked him up. But I did take him on a short potty run and he walked into the clinic and I hung around while they were processed and weighed.
They are both very gentle, sweet dogs and very attractive and seem young to me. I think they will be outstanding companions for some lucky people. I tried to get photos with my camera phone, but Samson wasn't cooperative sitting still and smiling for the camera. Delilah is in the red collar.
I hope you are able to find homes for them soon. They are very deserving and very nice dogs. I'd love to hear about it when they do find their home.
