Below is an excerpt from the email we received from a fellow rescuer regarding Jade.
I was asked to write to you and tell you about this black lab girl we have in our shelter. We are a small, rural shelter in NW Alabama, and we got this girl in last week as a stray. We had thought for sure someone would come looking for her, but it's been 2 weeks and nobody has. Delta is a very good girl, social, happy, well-mannered, gentle, totally ball crazy and happy. She has had some basic obedience as well and will obey basic commands. I have attached a photo of her sitting on command and intensely focused on a ball she thinks is about to be thrown for her :)
I took more pics today when I was at the shelter. She was out for a run and playing with my kids. She is a ball hound and knows exactly what a fence is, lol.... she patroled the whole fence line :) She is beautiful, smart, happy, good with kids, cats and dogs. |
