Louise is a female 5 year old black lab who found herself biding her time at Athens AC blissfully unaware of her surroundings. As fate would have it, she met Thelma - they got along famously and in the spirit of camaraderie, began to share everything! Penned together, they seem as if they have shared their whole lives together. And if they didn't, they sure made friends fast! Each one stared longingly at the other when they were out for their pictures.
Although they have a close bond, both are self sufficient and would be happy for the other to be adopted separately. Both gals would make calm, gentle companions for life!
Louise is a joy, and very low key. She'd be a super family girl as well as an exercise partner if you are looking for one, but she's not high energy. Readying for a walk, Louise becomes super excited and sets to bouncing around on her FRONT paws. Front only, its really quite a feat! Friendly and fabulous with our Vet, she described both Thelma and Louise as social gals for sure, extroverted and outgoing. They relish playtime with other dogs and were utterly nonplussed by the prospect of cats at the clinic. She's just an absolute joy to be around - there is simply no better way to describe her.
