| Bandit is a 1 1/2 year old gorgeous flat-coated retriever crossed with a good dose of black lab. He has exceptional character - responsive, bright, charming and energetic - this boy loves to pal around with other dogs (shout out to all his buddies at the Cherokee shelter) and weighs in just shy of 60 lbs. He prances elegantly as if he were light as a feather - almost as if he's been on the circuit and courted a crowd! Stranger things have happened, but because we think this boy is not wholly purebred, we tend to doubt it. No matter, his cross dictates his personality -and he just delights in ALL things. Seemingly the eternal optimist, Bandit's view of the world is more, more, more and introductions and new experiences are taken in stride. Bandit has a typical retriever coat - flat and lustrous, complete with feathered legs and tail. Cheerful and lighthearted, Bandit is on a quest for a family that is as active and outgoing as he is - or nearly so!
