"This girl had my heart today. She may not be what some would consider the most beautiful dog, yet her funny expressions made me smile and feel warm inside. Plus, she honored me with LOTS of kisses! You know, some dogs have an amazing ability to improve your mood by simply being near. She is one of those dogs. Is there someone out there who really needs a bright spot in his/her life? PLEASE consider this very deserving girl."
The above was Lily's shelter plea....very clever...as we were drawn to her immediately and that is exactly what the plea was meant to do. Now that we've met her, we take issue with anyone who does NOT think this girl is simply striking - because she is! But more importantly, she is arguably the biggest sweetheart of the bunch, calm in nature, mellow and affectionate to boot!
