| Ellie is a wonderful 2 1/2 year old lab mix who is just a love. She wags her tail with any eye contact made with her. She smiles at you in her own way! She snuggles, plays, fetches, and loves to swim. She loves to be around you all of the time. She rings a bell on the door to go potty. She loves to run and play outside. She is crate trained and goes to her crate when you say "night night Ellie". She knows no, off, sit, stay, come, wait. Very easily trained and could learn many tricks and commands. She needs lots of playtime outside, but is an inside dog as she needs her people around her. She can be left out in the house alone for brief periods of time but usually feels more secure in her crate. She cannot be left in a crate all day during work hours. She is too energetic and would be miserable. She goes on daily walks and does well on a longer leash. She is very social at the dog park and plays well with others. She would do best in a home with another non-dominant dog because she is used to playing frequently with the other dog in her home. She does well with children who are older, 9 or 10 years old, as that
is who she is accustomed to. She is in a home with a cat that she constantly tries to play with but the current cat will have nothing to do with her ;) She is very snuggly and loves lots of one on one attention. Her favorite toys are the stuffed mallard ducks, although they don't last long, squeak toys and Kong toys filled with peanut butter. Her favorite treats are peanut butter and popcorn. She is a WONDERFUL dog who needs time and attention and will surround you with unconditional love, companionship and the best friendship ever!
