Maggie is the perfect, move-in ready dog. She is house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She loves hanging out in the backyard and sunbathing. She is perfectly well-behaved inside and does not need to be crated. We leave her out all day while we are at work. She does have access to the backyard and I am sure she spends her time playing out there. Maggie comes with her very own doggie bed, food bowl, food container, and toys. Her last dad noticed that she was not loving her life as a condo dog. He had to travel with work and left her at boarding or in the condo without access to her beloved outdoors. Since she came to live with us a week ago, we now know why. She LOVES being outside almost as much as she loves cuddling. Maggie is great off leash and we took her hiking at the lake on Saturday. She stayed right with us and quickly got used to the water and had a blast swimming and fetching sticks. She tries to get our pups to play keep away but they wont have it. But that is her favorite game and she has a blast even when I play with her. She is great with other dogs and is really the most move-in ready dog that we have had.
Maggie definitely needs a home with a yard where she can hang out and play. And she is ready to give out lots of love. She hops right up in bed and cuddles with me all night. We love Maggie and she is ready to love her forever family.
Attached are a few pics and here is the link to others. I've attached a couple different photos and some highlights of my Maggie.
She ia a beautiful fawn color, 4 years old, 60lbs, pretty almond colored eyes, very loveable, enjoys being right close by you in the house.
Not sure about if she is cat friendly as she hasn't lived with any within the time period I've had her. She loves to have her tummy rubbed when she is laying on her back, and knows basic commands such as sit, she waits before her dish is filled with food. She's well mannered, a lady after all ;) I do have a large dog bed I bought from Costco but she seems to prefer to sleep a lot on my bed as well as her own! She's good company and quite a cuddle bug too.
My work days are very long now, I expect she is lonely for me and living in an apartment doesn't afford her access to the splendor of her own yard either. I know she would be happier with a family who can spend the day loving on her. To have the company of others throughout the day and the hubbub of activity in a home would brighten her world. She's a social girl looking for an outlet for all the love she has to give, she's bursting with a joy of life, unexplored and waiting to share. |
