Another Saved. Meet Muffin.
We are picking up this little pup today and bringing her into our program. It is a miracle that everything came together to enable us to help her. Otherwise, they couldnt let her stay there injured another day. Thanks to an anonymous donor who has offered some sponsor money, The Ark Animal Hospital, thats open 24/7 and Henry County Shelter staff, who was willing to come in on Sunday and meet Frank. We also have a foster, Adrienne Penders, who just adopted out Sweetie Pie, the injured dog we rescued in October.
Muffin will soon be on her way to recovery and to a loving home. Remember that without donations and foster help, rescue of this dog and the many others out there would not be possible. If youd like to help you can go to our website and donate. Thank you!
Plea that went out from HCAC Vol:
This VERY sweet loving young girl has a badly broken leg and needs immediate attention if there is much hope of saving the limb.......it is broken up in the hip area, you can hear the crunching and the leg hangs limp. This is in addition to the obvious crushing type trauma seen in the lower leg.
She was supposedly found in someone's back yard in this condition. Not sure we will ever know what really happened.
I am so sad. I hate to see her loose her life over a broken leg but she cannot be left to sit here either. I am looking for legit rescue to come get her now and have her seen. Hoping someone can find a way to help. She needs pain meds and TLC. PLEASE do not leave her sitting here if you can help it.
