Sydney sunning herself - she loves to lay on the back deck when I get home from work.
More photos!
Here are a couple photos from this morning. She LOVES to fetch and is constantly bringing us stuff to throw for her. Feel free taking your time finding a home for her, we just love her!
From her foster ~
Hey!
Attached is 1 picture of Sidney from the drive home from the vet. I have tons more on my camera and need to download them.
She is just a beautiful chocolate female. She is pretty small about 50 lbs max. On the way home she just laid on the back seat and was very calm. Then she met the pack at our house and was a little tentative. I am not sure how old she is, but she already has an adorable gray beard and is very well-behaved in the house. She is getting used to house' noises. I am not sure if she was not in a home or maybe was with an inactive family, but she did not know how to walk up or down the stairs. It was pretty funny to see her take 1 step at a time while the rest of the pack just hops up and down. She is very very sweet and has the softest ears after her bath. We brushed her and bathed her and got rid of tons of old, coarse fur. Now she is all soft and clean and happy! Her personality is starting to come out. She knows how to fetch and wants to play with the other dogs, but is not quite sure how. Inside, she is calm and cuddly and sleeps the whole night on her doggie bed in our bedroom. She walks perfectly on the leash and taught herself to use the doggie door just by watching the other dogs. She is so precious and we just love her already. I think she would be fine in a house with other dogs, but is not really into playing with them. She would be just fine as a family's only dog and I think she will be a blast as she works out her personality and comes out of her shell. We have been crating her during the day, but she would probably be just fine out on her own. We will start testing that out once we are back down to just 1 foster dog. But in the meantime, she is just fine in the crate. |
