Ace is a four month old black lab. Ace came to us by way of an elderly woman who was not physically or financially able to care for him. Her son died and the people who came to help her through her grieving eventually left - leaving Ace behind! They never returned to pick him up and the woman simply wasn't equipped to handle a young lab. Still, she knew he was a very good boy who deserved a very good life.

So what's extraordinary about Ace? He's remarkably socialized and extroverted. He gives 'paw' in exchange for a pet and a smile in return for praise. Given his training was fundamentally at the hands of an 82 year old woman, we are doubly impressed by both Ace and his patron. Labs are highly adaptable and Ace would shine in any environment. He is a surprisingly gentle dog full of fun and excitement. He has the hallmark temperament of a Lab and the silly nuances characteristic of a puppy. Case in point, he loves his squeaky toys, will gather them up and surround himself among his 'prizes' - carefully surveying his booty and eyeing his next victim. He is irresistibly cute, people pleaser extraordinaire with a knack for 'closing the deal'. We're sold and you will be too!
