| CiCi is a stunning female Catahoula leopard mix. We believe her to be between two and three years old - the last six months of which have been spent in boarding, having been unforgivably abandoned by her owners. This gal is well loved regardless and has favored pet status at the facility. If she has any flaws whatsoever, they have not surfaced in the time she has spent meeting and greeting, playing and carousing with the hundreds of playmates she has become well acquainted with in the last 6 months. This past Sunday, CiCi attended her first adoption and garnered quite a bit of interest - both people and dogs alike! People were drawn to her due to her 'standout' look and easy demeanor. Our ALR dogs were a little skeptical at first - she didn't quite fit the lab billing and well with all those spots she looked quite out of place amongst a sea of solids! Not surprisingly, CiCi's easy way and submissive nature instantly gave way to acceptance all around and our dogs unanimously decided she was one of them - despite all those funny markings! It gets better -CiCi is home for the holidays and 'sofa surfing' for the first time in 6 months with one of our very special fosters. Generally speaking we expect a few hiccups out of the gate, but CiCi has already received the most glowing report from her foster - we're uncertain whether that is indicative of CiCi alone or in conjunction with the excellent hands into which she has fallen.
