| Who’s a lucky dog??? I’m a lucky dog…That’s right. I’ve been in this scary shelter since mid February. I was lonely and scared, but managed to put up a brave front with the people who worked there. I quickly became one of their favorites so they hung onto me and they sent my pictures and story to rescues hoping someone would have room. Each day went by and no one came for me. Then I heard the staff say that they couldn’t hold me any longer. I could only imagine what that meant…I guess a last attempt was made to save me because right as my name hit “the list” someone called to say they’d come and get me. They won’t be disappointed. I’m a handsome Lab-like fellow with a heart of gold and a temperament to match. I’m a little over 2 years old so I’ve learned a lot about being a good citizen and am eager to learn more. Now I’m waiting again but I’m safe so I’ll be patient and look forward to a wonderful new home.
