Gabriel is one of 10 and 10 weeks old! His labby litter included 7 chocolates, 1 blondie and his identical bobsie twin, Becca. Gabe and Becca are some type of labrador mix but the consensus among our Vets is either flatcoat or golden is swirling around in their gene pool. True to their breeds, they are grand little retrievers. The tennis ball has met its match! They fetch endlessly without ever skipping a beat. Nothing deters them, the distance or the obstacles encountered, the ball does not drop until they are back at your feet. And pleased as punch!
Gabriel is a doll baby and a true cuddle bug. He adores people, his tail wags furiously in anticipation of greeting and to pick him up is to love him. When I first met him, he just spoke to me. While the rest of his litter was busying themselves with squeekas and the like, Gabe toddled into my office and sought me out. I picked him up and a love affair ensued. We shouldn't and don't play favorites, but Gabe is pretty darn special. He's got a cherubic look, not unlike his sister, expressive eyes and a soft, semi-wavy coat. He's a mellow little tyke, but he's not a dud! He's playful too and engages in hearty wrassles with his sibs and has known to engage an adult dog or two! He still has puppy zoomies, flat out bursts of energy, but Gabe's off switch tends to cut on sooner than his littermates. He's the whole package in a pup and he'll sponge up your love effortlessly.
Gabriel is crate trained and well on his way to being house trained. |
