| Georgia (4) and Tinker (1) came to our attention courtesy of yet another Judge in Gibson GA when the unlikely duo showed up on the lawn of the courthouse several weeks ago. The woman, an animal lover herself, inevitably fell for them but with 5 resident doxies and 1 Akita had a full house already. Both dogs were in good physical shape, appeared healthy and yet no one came to claim them? She fretted nightly for their safety and well being - they continued to remain homeless over the course of another week and she worried about the possiblity they could be run over. It seemed they were just content at the courthouse? Everyone at the courthouse had grown very fond of them, ensuring they were well fed and cared for and all agreed their best shot was rescue. They are, in the Judge's words..."truly great dogs with wonderful personalities". In a week or so, they will be making their journey from Gibson to ATL where we eagerly await their arrival.
