We received the below request from a volunteer who walked this sweet boy daily at the shelter - not suprisingly she became especially drawn to and extremely fond of Harley... :) Easy to do - he's completely loveable! We want to THANK HER ~ Harley too - he's requested a big smooch be sent in her direction :)
I know all rescue groups are so overwhelmed right now but I wanted to make you aware of a very special 2 year old Chocolate Lab named Harley just in case there is any way your group could help him. He is neutered, housebroken, good with kids and dogs. He's a very sweet guy but has an injury to the top of his front left paw and that's the reason he was surrendered to the shelter for euthanasia...yes, his owner brought him in and paid to have him put down, as I understand it, because he was tired of vet visits and trying to nurse his injured paw.
Harley is a purebred Chocolate - he is also registered according to his owner. The pictures above are of Harley in the e-collar he was wearing when brought in to the shelter...If there is anyway you could help Harley please contact us. Thank you so much for your time and love for these animals.
