| Miles is a 4 year old purebred yellow lab. We just want to pick him up and cradle him. Kiss him atop the head, whisper in his ear, reassure him. His shelter pictures tear at our heart - the forlorn look in his eyes says it all. This gentle boy was picked up as a stray but obviously well loved. Someone is missing him and sadly did not reclaim him in time. Biding his time at the shelter waiting has weighed heavily on him and this boy wears his heart on his sleeve. This clever, sensitive, beautiful boy has endless love to give and a heart of gold. His half hearted wags pull at our heartstrings with the promise of so much more and brings to the fore one of the classic lab traits - the desire to belong. Everything he's known has been taken from him, stoicly he awaits a family to mold himself to once more. We are on a journey to fulfill that wish.
