8.5.08 Millie crossed the Rainbow Bridge today - in the loving arms of her foster. Millie was well loved the last six months of her life - she experienced for the first time after so many years a true home with a family that cherished her. Millie enjoyed daily walks to the park, doting on her rescued 'sister', showing her the ropes and seeing all her ALR friends once a month at adoption events. Millie was a joy to her fosters. We will miss her sweet face and take comfort in the knowledge she is free of pain and making friends all over Rainbow Bridge. We are blessed to have known her and blessed to have fosters who adored her and saw to her every need. We know we will see sweet Millie again - I believe this with all my heart.
Millie is a Senior labby who will likely remain with her permanent Foster where she has been loved and adored since Day 1. We don't think her Foster Mom or Millie herself would want it any other way and that suits ALR just fine! : )
