Foster Update 3.10
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond!
Shea loves to go outside and loves to chase squirrels. He is fast and springy. Shea is pretty good on a leash. He is does not act crazy, until he wants to chase a squirrel .
He gets along with other dogs really well, but he likes to get all the attention. He is very sweet and loving and gentle indoors. He doesn't jump on furniture and he is not wild. Some things freak him out like a broom. Who knows what happened to him in the past. He can get scared by things and he is a little timid. He is friendly and loving to guests.
I think Shea needs a patient and loving owner that can spend some time with him. If there is another dog, that is no problem. I feel he needs a fenced in yard. Kids are okay, but they may freak him out if they have loud toys around him or approach him with something in their hands. If the children are old enough and understand that they need to be gentle with Shea, he will be very loving with them. The owner needs to be willing to build trust with Shea.
