Thelma is a female 3 year old black lab mix who found herself biding her time at Athens AC - fascinated at the prospect of meeting and making new friends - little did she realize her time was quickly winding down. As fate would have it, she met Louise - they got along famously and in the spirit of camaraderie, began to share everything! Penned together, they seem as if they have shared their whole lives together. And if they didn't, they sure made friends fast! Each one stared longingly at the other when they were out for their pictures. Although they have a close bond, both are self sufficient and would be happy for the other to be adopted separately. Both gals would make calm, gentle companions for life! Thelma was almost certainly a family pet as she is housebroken, previously spayed and will sit and shake on command - she is the perfect labby girl regardless of whether you're looking for a running buddy, a family dog, or just a friendly couch potato. Friendly and fabulous with our Vet, she described both Thelma and Louise as social gals for sure, extroverted and outgoing. They relished playtime with other dogs and were utterly nonplussed by the prospect of cats at the clinic. Honestly, who could want for anything more?! |
