Foster Update!...

He is a gorgeous black lab with the softest coat. He is very active and playful and loves to run out in the back yard. He loves to chase the ball and play keep away with it, but hasn't quite mastered bringing the ball back. He usually just drops it somewhere in the yard. We are working on potty training- he is doing much better- after only 3 days he is now going to the door when he has to go potty. After spending most of his life in the shelter- almost 5 months- I think this is amazing progress! He gets along great with my 2 dogs and, while he is interested in the cats, he doesn't chase them and isn't rough with them at all. I think he would do best in a home that had a lot of time to play with him or has a nice big fenced in yard where he could run around. He has a lot of energy! He enjoys playing with chew toys and we haven't had much trouble with him chewing on inappropriate items. He is eager to please and is learning very quickly. He will make someone a great companion!

I have attached some pics of Tramp.

A Vol at a local shelter contacted us about Tramp.... she said..."What a lovable lab" .... and we completely agree! He had been at the shelter since August! and his time was running out. We can hardly believe he was not adopted, but then again, black dogs, even purebred black labs are often overlooked, no matter how beautiful and engaging. He is completely black, Tramp does not have a stitch of white on him which makes him all the more desirable in some circles and less in others. Regardless, Tramp is gorgeous!, only 8 months old - a typical young lab, full of energy and spunk, a goof ball. He's full of character, intelligence and possesses the tried and true, universally appealing and proven labby temperament.

What a catch !
