The below bio of Whisper is courtesy of the Athens Vols, (thank you!) as we've not actually met this labby gent! Instead, Whisper was shuffled off to our closest Vet to have his eye tended to and receive a thorough vetting. When we have him here, 'hands on', we will post an update on this beauty boy. And I should mention our Vol who drove him did attest to the fact that he is an absolute sweetheart :)
Age 4 years, Labrador Retriever
Update 5/5: Poor Whisper is deathly scared of his new environment. He was trembling and drooling in his kennel and didn't want to come out at first. When a staff member got him out of his run for me he didn't want to move his body. Once he was finally outside he was a different dog. He absolutely hates all the barking at the pound. Whisper needs a calming environment and someone that will love him dearly. He also has an infected eye that will need to be looked at by a vet. Whisper wasn't too fond of my camera in his face, but I managed to capture a couple of pictures to show his charming face.
