I fall to pieces each time I see her and should you find yourself flirting with this puppy love, Zip, you will too. Smitten and no big surprise here ~ Zip is an adorable 4 month old black lab puppy, whose silky smooth short black coat is offset only by her bright white bib and splashes - one dip per paw. We call them tuxedo accents, fancy dress, and wholly appropriate considering Zip is always primed to party ~ her attire ready made. Dressed to the nines and ready to roll...Or spin, twirl, pirouette ~ she's a whirligig who never stops moving. (Lovingly referred to as puppy 'zoomies'.) Her morning routine consists of short jaunts to and fro, along the perimeter of the fence and back again. Everything amuses her - from the mundane to the benign, and she'll revisit time and again convinced she's missed out, a new scent out of place or that lone leaf with a will of its own will have run away.
Noon breaks and nap time ensues. She settles down nicely... She's out like a light, movement now reserved to intermittent foot peddling and sporadic tail wags - her morning adventures replayed out in her dreams. As young as she is, she considers herself in league with the big dogs and can often be found eyeing her 'contemporaries' - lol - hanging out in the grass, lying or munching away at it. Afternoons are spent spooning with the biggest and brightest - the resident Golden, 9 year old, Teddy. Of course, being a petite lil' puppeh, she's very much still a lap labby and seeks out same. She can cuddle with the best of them too and is happy to show you how!... but rock her gently lest she awakes and you find this leggy girl transition from lap to pillow pup in no time flat.
You'll love, love this sweet girl and seeing that Zip lives for affection and her reward is her people, a match made in heaven awaits you.
